
Alicja Knast
From January 2009 until 2011 she played a key role in new development of permanent exhibition at Chopin Museum where she was the Curator.
Since February 2012 she is CEO of the Core Exhibition at the Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw on behalf of The Association of the Jewish Historical Institute.
She was Research Fellow at The Metropolitan Museum in New York (2004-2005). Since 1998 she is a member of ICOM and its subcommittee International Committee of Museums and Collections of Musical Instruments as well as a member of Museums Association UK and Academy of Higher Education UK.
Her research interests are focused on strategies of implicit learning, music perception and instrumentology. Her main area of professional activity is currently museum management and design of architectures of multimodal systems for museum exhibitions.
She was awarded in 2011 by Gustav, King of Sweden, "Royal Order of the Polar Star” and in 2011 together with Migliore e Servetto prestigious Red Dot Award.
